PLAYA BOAT TOURS AND CRUISES FAQ's

Q: I'M ON A CRUISE SHIP - CAN I DO THESE TOURS?
A: Definitely!  These boat tours make a great cruise shore excursion.  There are two start times, so you can be sure to get one that fits your schedule.

Q: HOW CLOSE ARE THESE TOURS TO MY HOTEL?
A: The boat tours depart from Marina Puerto Aventuras, about 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, but they also include hotel pickup, so you won't have to worry about that.

Q: I'M AFRAID I'LL GET SEASICK - WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A: We always recommend taking a seasickness prevention 1 hour before boarding.  We recommend Bonine or 24 hour Less-Drowsy Dramamine.  It's only a few dollars, and it will normally ensure that you have a sickness-free and wonderful cruise in Playa!

Q: DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM TO DO THESE TOURS?
A: No, but it helps.  All boats are fully stocked with safety equipment, including life jackets, so you're not going anywhere, but it helps if you are comfortable in the water.
