Our most popular Chichen Itza
tour, this classic tour is the least expensive
way to see the Mayan Ruins from Playa del Carmen.
We'll travel in air-conditioned comfort from Playa
del Carmen to Chichen Itza, stopping once along
the way for a rest break, where we'll see local
villagers offering their handicrafts and hand-made
jewelry for sale.
We'll stop for a delicious buffet
lunch, complete with Mexican folkloric music and
a cultural show, then make our way to
the ruins site, where we'll
meet our expert archaeological guide, and split
into Spanish and English speaking groups so you
can just hear the tour in your own language.
Take a 90 minute guided tour of the ruins, a fascinating
glimpse into the Mayan culture, then have 1/2 hour
or so
to explore the ruins on your own, take photos, have
a drink, or shop for souvenirs. We'll then
visit a cenote, where you can take photos or cool
off with a swim, before heading for home.

When: Daily at
approximately 8:30 AM. Pick-ups are
between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM, depending on the
location of your hotel. Exact hotel pickup time will depend on the location
of your hotel, but will be shown on your e-ticket.
Where: Pickup from
your Playa del Carmen hotel except guests
staying downtown will meet at The Royal and
guests staying in Playacar hotels will meet at
Plaza Playacar.

OUR ADVICE:
This is our most popular Chichen Itza tour, and
for good reason. It's probably the best value
of any tour in Cozumel or the Riviera Maya. Make
sure to eat breakfast before you go or bring
snacks with you. It's a long drive, so some
reading material or entertainment is a good idea
too.

prices apply to ages 5-11. Kids under 5 are
free.
Cruise Passengers: This tour is
not compatible with most cruise schedules.
