After getting to know your dolphins and spending free time swimming with them in the blue Caribbean waters of Playa del Carmen, the high-speed excitement begins!

Two dolphins will push your feet, propelling you through the water at such speed that you will actually rise out of the water and feel like you are flying like Superman!  Then they'll give you a high-speed ride while you hold onto their dorsal fins - what a rush!  After the tour, you can buy a video of your tour to help you remember your experience forever.

After your dolphin swim you can have an encounter with funny sea lions and the rare manatee all in one amazing tour!

Where: Pickup at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel is available upon request for $10.00 USD per participant and $15.00 USD per observer, paid in cash at the time of your pick-up.* Cruise passengers will meet at the Dolphin Center in Puerto Aventuras, about 10 min. south of Playa del Carmen.

Kids: Ages 1 and up. Kids' prices apply to ages 6-12 years. Kids 1-5 years are free. Kids with heights between 3'3'' (1m) and 3'9'' (1.18m) can participate if accompanied by 2 paying adults (2 Adults per Kid). Kids with heights between 3'9'' (1.18m) and 4'6'' (1.40m) can participate if accompanied by 1 paying adult (1 Adult per Kid). Kids with heights above 4'6'' (1.40m) can participate alone if they pay the full adult price.

Restrictions: Pregnant women are not allowed to do the dolphin swim. No sunscreen or jewelry allowed for the safety of the dolphins. Transportation is available from most Riviera Maya hotels upon request.  Transportation from Cancun hotels is not available.

For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is not allowed, professional photos will be available for sale.

Location: The Dolphin Center is about 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen and 10 minutes north of Akumal.  If you are staying north of Playa del Carmen, please see our other Royal Dolphin Swim.

Cruise Passengers: Yes! This makes a great cruise shore excursion. The dolphin center is only 10 minutes from the Calica cruise pier, and 15 minutes from the Playa del Carmen Ferry Pier!
