Thinking of getting certified to scuba dive?  Why brave the cold Northern waters when you can bask in the glory of the Caribbean Sea instead?  Your PADI certified instructor will teach you all the required information about how to safely scuba dive in Playa del Carmen and around the world.  You will complete the required classroom and pool instruction, followed by four open water dives in the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

This course will certify you to dive with or without a divemaster in open water up to depths of 60 feet (20 meters) anywhere in the world.  You will never need to take another course again, unless you want to further your skills with an Advanced Open Water course.

Requires: No Certification Required!

When:  Monday to Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Where: Pick-up at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel. Detailed instructions will accompany your confirmation.

PADI Open Water Certification

PADI Scuba Diving Instruction Playa del Carmen

Kids: Ages 10 and up. PADI regulations state that students younger than 15 years will receive PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, which they may upgrade to PADI Open Water Diver certification upon reaching 15.  Divers over 15 years old will achieve full open water certification for life upon completion. 

RESTRICTIONS

1) No alcohol before diving
2) No hangovers
3) No flying for at least 24 hours after diving
4)  All participants are required to fill out a Medical Questionnaire prior to diving.  If you will answer yes to any of the listed items, you will need to bring a note from your doctor clearing you to scuba dive.  This is a standard PADI form used by all PADI dive shops worldwide. Please review it prior to booking to determine if you will need to visit your doctor prior to your trip.
