Cenote Dos Ojos is part of one of the most famous underground river systems in the world.  Stretching over 50 miles, the full extent of the Dos Ojos system is yet to be discovered.  Dos Ojos (two eyes) is named after a pair of cenotes that connect into a giant underground cavern, an awesome effect that makes Dos Ojos one of the best known cenotes near Playa del Carmen for snorkeling and scuba diving.

Featured in the hit IMAX film Journey into Amazing Caves and the Discovery Channel series Planet Earth, Dos Ojos was also seen in the feature film The Cave.  This excursion will take you to this amazing marvel of nature to snorkel and explore its underwater caverns, where beams of sunlight shine through cracks in the ceiling to illuminate its magnificent geologic formations and crystal clear water, creating unforgettable light effects.  After our underwater adventure, we will enjoy a traditional Mexican restaurant for lunch, where we can share our experiences of this mystical place!
