Our most popular Chichen Itza
tour, this classic tour is the least expensive
way to see the Mayan Ruins from Playa del Carmen. We'll travel in air-conditioned
comfort from Playa
del Carmen to Chichen Itza, stopping for a
delicious buffet lunch. We'll also visit a cenote,
where you can take photos or cool off with a
swim.
Then it's off to Chichen
Itza, where we'll meet our expert archaeological
guide, and split into Spanish and English
speaking groups so you can just hear the tour in
your own language. Take a 90 minute guided tour
of the ruins, a fascinating glimpse into the
Mayan culture, then have 30 minutes to
explore the ruins on your own, take photos, have
a drink, or shop for souvenirs.

When: Daily at
approximately 9:00 AM. Exact pick-up time will vary depending on the location of
your hotel, but will be shown on your e-ticket.
Cozumel Guests: Plaza Antigua at 7:50 AM. You must take the earliest Xailing ferry to join this tour. The last ferry from Playa departs at 10:00 PM with Ultramar or Winjet (depending on the day, please check the schedule for your travel date); otherwise, the latest Xailing ferry departs at 9:30 PM. While we aim to return on time, delays may occur, and catching the last ferry is at your own risk. For full flexibility, we recommend our Private Chichen Itza Tour.

OUR ADVICE:
This is our most popular
Chichen Itza tour, and
for good reason. It's probably the best value
of any tour in Cozumel or the Riviera Maya. Make
sure to eat breakfast before you go or bring
snacks with you. It's a long drive, so some
reading material or entertainment is a good idea
too.
