A Mayan ruins extravaganza
from Playa del Carmen! Visit two of the
premier ruins sites in the Riviera Maya in one
great tour. Travel non-stop to Tulum, the
great walled city, where you can be entranced by
the cliff top view over the Caribbean and one of
the area's most beautiful beaches. Tour
the ruins and be fascinated by the advanced
civilization of the Mayas.
Then it's off to Coba, much larger than Tulum and less touristy.
Here you'll visit the Nohoch-Mul temple, one of the tallest and most ancient
structures in the Yucatan Peninsula! You can rent a rickshaw (aka
pedicab) at Coba to be chauffeur driven around
the site, or you can rent a bicycle if you'd
like to give it a go on your own.
You can also take a guided
tour of these ruins as well, as you learn about
the distinctive qualities of Coba and can
contrast them with those of Tulum. Of
course, these tours are fully customizable -
want to stop for lunch, shopping, or a roadside
attraction? No problem at all - add
whatever you like that is on the way.
Cruise
Passengers:
Sorry, but this
tour is not compatible with most cruise ship
schedules. We suggest to choose either Tulum or
Coba for your excursion rather than both due to
time constraints.
When: Daily on Your
Schedule.
Where: Pick-up and
drop-off at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera
Maya Hotel.
How Long: Approximately 8 Hours. You
don't have to stay the full 8 hours if you are
pressed for time. We'll get you back in
time. Additional Hours are also available
if you have more time.
