Cruise Passengers: Sorry, but this tour is not compatible with most cruise ship schedules. However, you can do our Private Xcaret Express and enjoy the park all day.

When: Daily at 9:00 AM. Exact pickup time will depend on your hotel, and will be specified on your e-ticket.

Where: Pickup at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel, or meet at Plaza Playacar downtown.

How Long: 12.5 Hours Approximately.

Our Advice:

Xcaret should be on the short list of every first-time visitor to Playa del Carmen. We recommend it particularly for families, as there are lots of things for kids to do.

Note: Only biodegradable, chemical free sunscreen is allowed inside Xcaret Park.

Dolphins Programs: Swim with dolphins activities are not included in the tour but are available at Xcaret. If you want to swim with dolphins at Xcaret, you should for sure book in advance. You secure your spot and can save 15% or more on the tickets. Please note that Playa del Carmen Tours does not sell the dolphins tickets.

Cozumel Guests: This tour departs from Playa del Carmen. You'll need to take the Xailing Ferry from Downtown Cozumel to meet the tour. The first ferry from the island starts at 6:30 am.

It was absolutely amazing. Loved the trip and we used Cancun discounts last time we came to Mexico. The only thing I would mention is on the Xcaret Basic Trip it reads as if the snacks are included and also the bus rep said only snacks. But they are not included you can only purchase snacks so maybe amending the wording so it reads clearly would help. Thanks so much Cancun discounts.

I liked the park, but would've enjoyed more if your details were clearer on what was paid for or not. Like even towels had to be paid for - weird for a water based park! Also, it's not mindful of those of us taking ferry to from Cozumel. Yes we meet the tour on time (although 40 min check in with guide is way too long). But we had to catch our own taxi back to docks cuz we wanted to see show but had to leave earlier to make our ferry time.
