Our 2-tank scuba diving trips in Playa del Carmen are our most popular offering. These trips will take you to the best dive sites in Playa del Carmen, including wreck dives, reef dives, and more. Sights may include moray eels, stingrays, giant grouper, sea turtles, reef and nurse sharks, spiny lobsters, and huge schools of tropical fish, among many other potential sights. Turtles are a very common and always fun sighting during dives in Playa del Carmen.

Come experience the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and dive Playa del Carmen!

Requires: Open Water Certification. Not certified? See our Discover Scuba Diving or Get Certified! The last dive must be within a timeframe of less than one year.

When: Monday to Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Where: Pick-up at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel. Detailed instructions will accompany your confirmation.

How Long: 4 Hours Approximately.

RESTRICTIONS

1) No alcohol before diving
2) No hangovers
3) No flying for at least 24 hours after diving
4) All participants are required to fill out a Medical Questionnaire prior to diving. If you will answer yes to any of the listed items, you will need to bring a note from your doctor clearing you to scuba dive. This is a standard PADI form used by all PADI dive shops worldwide. Please review it prior to booking to determine if you will need to visit your doctor prior to your trip.
5) People with limited mobility, recent surgeries, recent injuries, back problems, or who are pregnant are not allowed to participate in the tour.

It was a FABULOUS dive!!! Absolutely loved it! SCUBA REEF DIVERS were excellent! They took our experience into account and made it 2 of the best dives we have had in Cozumel! Pepe and his team were great! We would use this travel group again it was very easy and they communicated great!

Divemaster Pepi was great, patiently helping me through equalization issues due to my head cold. I had never had this problem before, but it almost caused me to get back in the boat and give up on the dive. Finally got it resolved, and the dive was beautiful. Great location with coral caves and tunnels. Our dives went long, and Pepi also helped my brother and me by driving us to the nearby port when no taxi was available to get us there on time. The reasons for withholding a star: 1. Difficulty understanding where to find the dive operator inside the marina. No one seemed to recognize Scuba Reef Divers or where to find them. 2. Some of the equipment was sketchy and not appropriately sized. My brother's wet suit was far too large, and my BCD was an XL instead of medium. I couldn't tighten it sufficiently to keep it from constantly shifting on me.

Best dives! They adjusted to the weather and even picked us up at a pier closer to the ferry!! Great service will dive with them again for sure!

It was a great dive. A large eagle ray swam with us. Also saw a lion fish and Gupa (forgive spelling). Great boat/dive team. Thanks Pepe and Beto!!!
