After complimentary pick up at your Playa del Carmen hotel, you'll travel in air-conditioned comfort non-stop to the impressive Coba Mayan Ruins. Here, you can explore this once-mighty empire and climb the great pyramid, giving you awesome views of the Mayan jungle. The ruins are large and spread out, so there are bicycles and pedicabs (rickshaws) for rent at the gate, and expert trained guides available for hire at the entrance to give you incredible insight about the Mayans of Coba, and help you enjoy your visit to the ruins even more.

After your visit, we'll take you directly back to your hotel (or the ferry pier if you prefer). For Calica guests, we can drop you just outside the cruise pier and you can walk inside. This is a great way to make the most of your time in Playa del Carmen. These trips are fully customizable, so you can stop for shopping or lunch if you like, or add extra hours to see even more.

Cruise Passengers: Yes! This tour makes a great shore excursion.

When: Daily on Your Schedule.

Where: Pick-up and drop-off at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya Hotel. For cruise passengers, we pick up in downtown Playa del Carmen at the ferry pier. There is an additional charge for pickup at hotels north of Playa del Carmen, because we have to drive the opposite direction to pick you up and double-back.

How Long: Approximately 6 Hours. You don't have to stay the full 6 hours if you are pressed for time. We'll get you back in time. Additional Hours are also available if you have more time. Coba is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen.
