Looking for the ultimate way to swim with dolphins in Playa del Carmen? The Dolphin Royal Connection offers the most dynamic and interactive dolphin experience in the region. This unforgettable tour includes a range of exciting activities designed to bring you up close and personal with these incredible marine mammals.

You will have plenty of other time to interact with the dolphins as well, including hugs, handshakes, play time and more.  This is our top selling dolphin swim!  It is the same at either location, but at this location you will enjoy also one of the best beach clubs in Playa del Carmen, located on one of the world's best beaches.  Here you can relax and enjoy the sunshine, restaurant and bar, or optional watersports if you like.

This dolphin swim is conveniently located for anyone staying in Playa del Carmen or especially on the north side of town. If you are staying south of Playa del Carmen, our other Dolphin Royal Connection will be more convenient for you.

Cruise Passengers:  Yes! This makes a great cruise shore excursion. The dolphin center is only 10 minutes from the Calica cruise pier, and 15 minutes from the Playa del Carmen Ferry Pier!

When: Four Times Daily at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:30 PM.

Where: Pickup at your Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotel is available upon request for $10.00 USD per participant and $16.00 USD per observer, paid in cash at the time of your pick-up.* Cruise passengers will meet at the Dolphin Center, about 15 min. north of Playa del Carmen.

How Long: Approximately 1 Hour. You can stay and use the beach facilities all day if you like!

Kids: Kids with heights between 3'3'' (1m) and 3'11'' (1.20m) can participate if accompanied by 2 paying adults. Those taller than 3'11'' (1.21m) can participate with only 1 paying adult. Kids with heights above 4'7'' (1.41m) can participate alone if they pay full adult price.

Restrictions:  Pregnant women are not allowed to do the dolphin swim. No sunscreen or jewelry allowed for the safety of the dolphins.

Transportation is available from most Riviera Maya hotels upon request. Transportation from Cancun hotels is not available.

The trip was amazing and the crew and captain of the Zuniga were so fun and pleasant to travel / work with. They were very accommodating and spoke good English in addition to Spanish

We booked a dolphin, VIP experience through the tour company. It was an incredible and amazing experience that the family will never forget! To interact with the dolphins is an incredible opportunity that was very special. The tour company provided good communication and the price we paid for the VIP dolphin swim was better than anyone else I had talked to. We booked with the tour company, even though we were staying in a condo on the island. We didn’t have any issues with transfer to cruise ships or any other details. We provided our own transportation to the venue and back.

The excursion was great in most everything except for when we were leaving we were approached to purchase our pictures and we did like them but we had a large group and they wanted outrageous prices for our pictures and would not budge on price so we did not purchase any, if they would have worked out a reasonable package deal we would have got them other than that it was a great time
